Une véritable fête visuelle. On retrouve les bleus jaunes et orangés des dernières toiles de Van Gogh.Le peintre est immergé sur son lit volant dans sa propre vision. Et plus aucun cadre n'est autorisé à contenir cette vision. Il n'y a plus ni haut ni bas, ni endroit ni envers. L'hommage au rêve, à la folie et à Van Gogh se double aussi à l'évidence d'un hommage à Winsor McKay et son Little Nemo. Un Little Nemo en 3D et qui aurait consommé trop de graine de tournesol et de chanvre...

About Gradimir Smudja
Gradimir Smudja was born in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia in 1954. He left his home country in 1982 because he wasn't happy with the regime of the time. He worked at a gallery in Switzerland for a while, before moving to Italy, where he produced his 'Vincent & Van Gogh' comic album, that was published by Delcourt in 2003. In this homage to the famous Dutch painter, Smudja showed a great talent for imitating Van Gogh's style. A second book was published in 2010.
