Originally used as part of a set of Love and Rockets postcards (and possibly a calendar), this boss Jaime Hernandez Love and Rockets illustration depicting Penny Century and horned billionaire H.R. Costigan pushes so many of my buttons. Full page, luscious inky blacks, and one of my favorite characters from a series that transformed my comic reading habits and how I thought about comics.

About Jaime Hernandez
Jaime Hernandez is a comic book artist born in Oxnard, California in 1959. With his brothers Gilbert and Mario, he created the Love and Rockets comixes, in which he developed the Locas series over a period of more than forty years.
